Thomas W. Lynch PE, PTOE, PTP, AICP
Tom Lynch has over 25 years in the transportation planning field where his planning efforts have resulted in almost a half billion dollars of infrastructure improvements in four states. Notable Wisconsin projects include Highway 29 near Wausau, US 12 near Baraboo, and the Verona Road interchange. He currently serves as the Director of Transportation for the City of Madison. This department includes Metro Transit, Traffic Engineering, and the Parking Utility. He is an advocate for meeting our transportation needs through transferring mode share away from single occupancy vehicles and towards transit, biking, and walking. Tom has lived with his wife Melody in Madison for 27 years and has four grown children. In his free time Tom enjoys backpacking, canoeing, and biking.
